New Schedule

Last night I tried a kind of new schedule: Coming back from work and taking an hour to get some food, going on-line to reply to messages and do my blogging and so on for an hour and a half or so, then switching off the computer for a couple of hours or so to read and watch TV and write in my journal, and then go back on to the computer for an hour or so without going on the internet so I can get some writing done (or take an hour to try drawing or something), then have half an hour or an hour chilling out before bed. I tried it last night and I managed to write about 1000 words, which was quite good.

The Akira graphic novels which I ordered arrived in the mail today. It was really good. They arrived before I left for work.

Drawing

Last night was fairly quiet. I did try some drawing, but it didn't turn out to well. In fact it kind of sucked. I don't know whether it's because I'm out of practice, having not done any drawing in years, or if I just have absolutely no talent at drawing. I hope the latter isn't the case, because it sometimes feels like I can't actually do anything, at least not well. I do like drawing. I'm going to try and maybe get some better pens and inks to see if maybe if I experiment a bit it might help.

I was back at work again today and it was another really quiet day. I got home at around quarter past six.

Bad Cheese

Last night I didn't really do much! I got a piece of cheese yesterday for a snack and as I was munching away at it, I noticed that it was starting to go bad at the far end, so I threw it out. Ugh. Gross cheese!

I was listening to an episode of The Man in Black on the radio. It was about a guy waiting for a bus late at night in a city where a lot of people have recently gone missing, and who meets a strange girl. It was quite predictible towards the end, but it was effective. Also cities are pretty creepy late at night.

Today I went along to my parents house for lunch. We had tacos which were really nice. I've decided I am going to try drawing in my sketch books. What I am really worried about is if I discover that I can't draw at all.
