Masters of Horror

Last night I watched the final episode of the current season of The Apprentice, which is a show I've been enjoying. After that I saw a repeat of an episode from the first season of Masters of Horror called The Dreams in the Witch-House, based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft, and directed by Stuart Gordon (who made Re-Animator). In the show a university student rents a room in an old, run-down house, and starts to suffer from bizarre nightmares about a rat with a human face, and a mysterious old woman. He comes to believe that one of the corners in the room is set up in such a way that it creates a doorway into another dimension. It wasn't bad but pretty weird, and only very loosely connected to the original story.

Today has been fairly quiet. I've made arrangements to go up and meet up with Michele tomorrow to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, so I'm looking forward to seeing that.
