Last night I was watching a TV show called The Cult of Blake's 7 about the popularity of a British 1970s science-fiction show. I've watched a few episodes of the show on video and it was actually very good, at times being surprisingly dark with witty scripts, even though the space-ships looked like they were made from cardboard and the sets often looked like they were just about to fall down. Also it was fairly obvious that the mysterious alien planes were, in reality, English quarries.

This morning I went over to my parent's house for lunch, as usual (chicken, stuffing, baked potato, peas and gravy, followed by strawberries and cream). That was really nice. Apparently we will be leaving for Leeds on Tuesday and returning on Sunday.
