Interview with the Vampire

It was another fairly quiet evening in last night, spent as usual watching television. I was half watching the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire, directed by Neil Jordan and based on the novel by Anne Rice. The story revolves around an unnamed interviewer (Christian Slater) who meets a vampire, Louis (Brad Pitt), who tells the interviewer the story of his life through centuries of vampirism with his mentor Lestat (Tom Cruise) and child vampire Claudia (Kirsten Dunst). It's a very good film and pretty faithful to the novel. It's also possible the most epic and visually lavish horror movie ever made.

It was also a pretty average day at work. I stopped off on my way in to renew my bus pass.
