Time Off

I am off work today and so I went into Princes Street to look around the shops. I bought a whole bunch of books in the sales. I bought three Haruki Murakami novels in a three for two offer (Hard-Boiled Wonderland at the End of the World, Kafka on the Shore and Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman). I also bought the novels Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut and Ring by Koji Suzuki. The last two were only £3 each.

It was raining very heavily when I got out and so I went into the bar at the Rutland Hotel, where I had a couple of beers and browsed through my new books, until the rain cleared off.

Well, I'm going down to Leeds tomorrow and will not be back until Sunday, and so after today I probably won't be on-line for a few days until Sunday, but I will be back on then.
