Hi, Mom!

Last night I saw a 1970 movie called Hi, Mom!, directed by Brian De Palma. The film stars Robert De Niro in one of his first roles as an amateur film-maker who starts secretly filming his neighbours through the window so he can sell the more explicit footage he comes up with for porn films. However, he starts to fall of one of his subjects, and finds himself increasingly drawn to radical 70s politics and a violent experimental theatre troupe. The movie is a semi-sequel to the 1968 film Greetings, which was also made by Brian De Palma and also featured Robert De Niro. It had it's interesting moments, but it's very much a product of it's time.

I went to work today and it was another really quiet and dull day. I got home at around quarter past six.
