Start of the Weekend

Today has been very quiet so far. I went out and got my groceries this morning and in the afternoon I went out to the Cineworld cinema to see Hostel Part II. I left really early and I arrived at the cinema with about half an hour before the show, so I went up to the bar in the cinema and despite waiting there for some time and pushing the call button about four times no-one came to serve me so I just went to a bar next door and had a bottle of Budweiser and read my book.

Hostel Part II was a fairly gruesome horror film about three American art students in Rome who take a holiday to a town in Slovakia, on the advice of one of the class' models, where they find themselves targeted by a criminal organisation that offers wealthy customers the chance to kill a complete stranger. The film was very similar to the previous one, and there were some interesting scenes, but it wasn't really particularly scary.

This evening it's the last episode in the current series of Doctor Who, so I'll certainly be watching that. It's a shame in a way because I've been really enjoying it.
