Arc of Infinity

Last night I was watching a Doctor Who story from 1983 called "Arc of Infinity". When the Doctor (Peter Davison) is attacked in the TARDIS by a strange alien force, he is summoned back to his home planet of Gallifrey by the Time Lords. Apparently a powerful creature from an anti-matter universe is trying to come through to the physical universe by "bonding" with the Doctor. However due to the lethal consequences when matter and anti-matter collide the Time Lords are determined to prevent it, and they have decided the only solution is to execute the Doctor. It was a really enjoyable episode, and fans will probably notice an appearance by Colin Baker (who was later to become the sixth Doctor) as the head of the Gallifreyan guards.

It was another quiet day at work. I'm taking Friday off though, so that should be good. I was hoping to go up then and see the new Indiana Jones movie then. After work I went over and renewed my bus pass for another month.
