Busy Sunday

Last night I was listening to an episode of Fear on Four called "Gobble Gobble" which was about a civil servant who was held prisoner in a turkey shed by a deranged farmer. It was pretty good. I really like radio drama.

I was up pretty early today and my Dad came over and took me along to the Gyle Shopping Centre. I had a scone and a mocha coffee at a cafe for my breakfast, and then we split up to look at our own things. I bought myself a couple of books: Smoke and Mirrors a collection of short stories by Neil Gaiman and Survivor a novel by Chuck Palahniuk. I might be able to get it signed when I see Palahniuk at the Book Festival next month.

When I got to my parent's house, the latest issue of Fortean Times (The Journal of Strange Phenomena) had arrived in the mail, along with the DVD of Stalker that I had ordered. Solaris should be coming soon. The afternoon was pretty quiet, my mum and I went out and picked some raspberries for me from the garden, so that will be nice for the evening.
