Lonelyache

Last night I was reading another story from the Harlan Ellison Essential Ellison collection. This one was called "Lonelyache" about a man consumed with bitterness and loneliness after his wife leaves him, haunted by increasingly violent dreams he discovers that his bad feelings are manifesting themselves as a giant monster living in his apartment. It was a pretty creepy story and quite effective.

It was another quiet day at work. I left pretty early on Friday and so I got into work early and left fairly early as well, and still managed to make some flexitime so that was good.

I've kept meaning to go somewhere on holiday this year, but I haven't got round to it. I'm thinking of taking a late holiday at some point during the next few months or so. Don't really know where I'm going to go yet.
