The Two Doctors

Last night I was watching a Doctor Who story from 1985 called "The Two Doctors". In this story, the second Doctor (played by Patrick Troughton) arrives on a research station in space where illegal experiments are taking place into time travel, alongside genetic experiments in augmenting the intelligence of vicious humanoid aliens, dedicated primarily to eating anything in sight (including humans). However it turns out to be a trap and the Doctor is kidnapped. Disturbed by strange headaches, the sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) arrives on the station to find the station in ruins and most of the crew dead. He soon discovers that his old enemies, the Sontarans, have kidnapped his earlier self and so follows them to a palatial villa in Spain where they are conducting a series of bizarre experments. It was a pretty good story. There used to be a few stories made featuring multiple Doctors until there too many actors cast to make them feasible (the next season sees of the show sees the debut of the eleventh Doctor).

Today was really quiet.
