The Ring

Last night I was watching a documentary by Stephen Fry abou the controversial composer Richard Wagner, who's most famous work The Ring lasts about nineteen hours in it's entirity. Stephen Fry, who is of Jewish heritage and is an unashamed fan of Wagner, was very engaging in the documentary and didn't shy away from confronting Wagner's legacy (Wagner himself was horribly anti-semitic and Adolf Hitler was a massive fan of his work).

Today I was off work and I had a walk around the city, seeing as the weather was so nice. I had a kind of pub lunch of steak and bacon club sandwiches which was really nice.
