Focus Group

Last night I was watching the latest episode of The Wire. It's up to the penultimate episode of the fourth season. The season finale is tonight and the fifth (and final) season starts on Thursday. It's strange to think that (at the rate of three episodes a week) they've only got about four weeks worth of episodes to go. I'm actually going to miss that show when it's finished.

I went along to a focus group this morning at work, about how well the IT department had been performing. That was quite a heated debate. Also the fire alarm rang right in the middle of my lunch, which was very annoying. I think it was a false alarm.

I left work early again today, because there just wasn't much point in staying in, so that was a fun change! I used to get into work at about ten in the morning and leave around six, but now I get in before half past eight in the morning and leave around half past four or five, so it's easy for me to make the time so I can have these early days now.
