Before the Screaming Begins
Last night was pretty quiet. I was watching a few of the extra features on the Doctor Who: Genesis of the Daleks DVD. Namely a documentary about the making of the story and a documentary about the history of the Daleks in the Doctor Who TV series.
Today was another dull day at work. One good thing is that I have booked Friday as a day off, so that should be fun.
I listened to the first part of a science-fiction radio play called Before the Screaming Begins about a wedding anniversary that is interrupted when the husband is abducted by aliens. It was pretty good, kind of like a cross between the film Fire in the Sky and an episode of Torchwood. That was followed by the first part of a reading of the classic horror novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, about a man left alone in a world infested by vampires.
