Medieval Mind

I've been watching a season of shows on BBC Four called "The Medieval Mind" about the world of the Middle Ages. It's been pretty interesting. I've always liked history. Although as the name suggests it's more concerned with the psychology and beliefs of people living at that time rather than just the history of the Middle Ages.

I watched some of the special features on my Red Dwarf season one DVD. One of the more interesting features was the Japanese version of the pilot episode. It was like a heavily edited, re-mastered version of the episode dubbed into Japanese, with captions popping up at various intervals. It was quite funny actually, seeing the familiar characters speaking in completely different voices, in a completely different language.

It was another fairly average day at work again. It will be the weekend soon, at least.
