End of the Festival
Well, today has been pretty uneventful. This afternoon I went to see a film at a Film Festival called Red Cockroaches. The film was made for $2000 apparently. It was more remarkable that they managed to make a film for so little money rather than any qualities of the film itself. It's a really strange science-fiction film. I can see it becoming one of those big cult movies. the main reason I wanted to see it was because it was made so cheaply. I thought I might learn something, and I did. I've learned a lot about low-budget film-making at the Festival over the past couple of weeks and I think that I'm about ready to start making my own short films, if I can get a cast together. this was the last film I have booked for this year's festival. It ends officially tomorrow. It's a pity actually, because I've really enjoyed it this year. There's always next year, though.
This evening I will probably be watching The 100 Scariest Moments on television.
I am back at work on Monday, and trying not think about it. I am really not looking forward to it at all!
