Alien Blancmanges

Last night was pretty quiet. I was watching repeats of comedy shows on TV, and reading some of my books.

This morning I watched an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus on DVD. This episode featured giant, intelligent alien blancmanges from the Andromeda galaxy turning the entire population of England into Scotsmen, in the belief that Scotland is the worst tennis playing nation in the world, so that the blancmanges can win at Wimbledon. They are eventually defeated when an elderly couple eat them.

I went along to my parent's house for lunch as usual. This week we had minced beef, carrots, mashed potato, spring onions and cheese baked together and some peas, with profiteroles for dessert. It was a nice lunch.
