New Books

Late last night I was watching a three part documentary called The Worlds of Fantasy, about fantasy fiction, mostly in literature but also in films and video games. It was a repeat of a show that I watched when it was first broadcast in March, but it was still interesting to watch.

Today I went out to the city centre and got some books in the sales. I got Snuff the new novel by Chuck Palahniuk (which I should be able to get autographed on Saturday), Crime by Irvine Welsh and American Supernatural Tales (an anthology of horror stories by American writers including Edgar Allan Poe, HP Lovecraft, Ray Bradbury and Stephen King).

When I got home I had difficulty unlocking my door. I hope the lock is not broken again. It has happened before a couple of times.
