Going Out After Work

It was yet another fairly quiet and dull day at work. It was very quiet, but then Friday's always are. Next Monday should be another really quiet day because it's a public holiday, but I'll still be in.

After work I went along to the Omni Centre and had a drink at a bar called the Slug and Lettuce. I was waiting for my dad but I was quite a bit early, so I had a drink and sat around for an hour or so reading my book (the autobiography of Anthony Burgess). When my dad arrived we had a drink and then went over to Frankie and Benny's restaurant where we shared a cheese and garlic pizza bread starter with olives, for the main course I had a Manhattan burger (which is like two burgers with cheese and bacon on them) with fries and onion rings. This was followed by a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream covered with chocolate sauce. After that my dad and I had another drink before heading our seperate ways.

When I got back I watched the first episode of the new series of Peep Show, which is a show that I think is really hilarious.
