Busy Weekend

Yesterday morning I went out to buy some groceries and in the afternoon I went out for drinks with my friends Alan and Joe. I was out really late, actually and got home at about two in the morning.

Today I went to my parent's house as usual, the new issue of Sight and Sound magazine had arrived during the week. We went out to eat at Howie's, I had a bowl of cullen skink to start (it's a kind of thick fish soup made with haddock), salmon and crab cakes and a lemon sorbet. It was really nice.

I've entered some competitions from Sight and Sound, at the moment I am in the running to win a DVD box-set of Stanley Kubrick films, a DVD box-set of Coen Brothers films and a book called Orson Welles at Work.
