Sunday Lunch

I watched the latest episode of Doctor Who last night, which was pretty good, continuing the story of the Daleks trying to take over New York.

I went to my parent's house this afternoon for my lunch (which this week was chicken in a white wine sauce with grapes, peas and basked potatoes, followed by strawberries and cream). The new issue of Fortean Times had arrived during the week and this month had a special headline feature celebrating fifty years of Hammer Horror films. I remember watching those films on late-night TV when I was younger. They were really shocking by the standards of their time but now they are really quite tame.
