Weird Dreams
Last night was very quiet, and I was very tired. When I did go to bed I had a weird dream where I lost one of my teeth and I woke up and immediately put my hands in my mouth to check that they were all there. Which they were, obviously, it was just a dream. I think it was partly because a lot of people at work have been having dental treatment and I was reminded of when I did have a couple of teeth out when I was about thirteen. The reason was because I was getting orthadontic treatment to fix a massive overbite that I had as a child (I was a spectacularly ugly child, even uglier than I am today). And so I had to get a tooth out on both sides of my mouth. I can still remember going home with the entire lower half of my face totally numbed by the aneasthetic, and I only realised afterwards that blood was flowing from my mouth in two heavy trickles. I looked like a thirteen year old Count Dracula. I had some funny looks during that walk home, I can tell you.
I went out today to get my groceries for the week. When I got home I watched a few episodes of Doctor Who on DVD. I saw the first few episodes of the first Dalek story from 1964. It's funny how, despite a few design upgrades, the Daleks looked basically the same in 1964 to how they look today. Whereas some other Doctor Who creatures, such as the Cybermen look almost unrecognisable now from how they did when they first appeared.
I have also decided that I am definitely going to try and emigrate. Probably to Canada. I've wanted to for years, and I've decided to definitely try and make it happen within the next couple of years. It's almost a family tradition for us to leave the town of our birth, because aside from me we've pretty much all moved away at some point. Also I think it is defitnitely the best thing I could do for myself, honestly.
