Millennium
Last night I was watching an episode of the TV series Millennium, which was made by the creators of The X-Files. The show dealt with an ex-FBI profiler (played by Lance Henriksen) who has a unique ability to get into the minds of serial killers and becomes recruited by a sinister organisation called The Millennium Group to investigate serial killers. It wasa really good show, much darker than The X-Files, which may have been why it was a lot less popular. Although there was a cross-over episode in the seventh series of The X-Files.
Today was another quiet day at work. There was a "Maximising Attendance" meeting this morning, to explain the new procedures that the company are initiating in order to cut down on the number of people taking sick-days. It was a dull meeting that lasted nearly an hour but was enlivened, as many of these meetings are, by the fact that it almost ended up as a total argument.
I got home at around six, picking up some milk on the way, and had a microwaved shrimp and pasta thing with small cherry tomatoes in it, that was quite nice.
