A Pocket Full of Rye

Last night I was listening to an adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel called A Pocket Full of Rye in which Miss Marple has to solve a series of murders that seem to be based around the old nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence".

I was up pretty sharp this morning and my Dad came to take me along to do some grocery shopping, which went well, and then we went along to a shopping mall for something to eat. I had a cappuccino and a plain muffin with butter. Then we went and had a look around. I got a game for my Playstation 3 called The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition which I got for £11.99 due to the store closing down.

When we got along to my parent's house the latest issue of Sight and Sound magazine had arrived, the main features this month were an article on the new film Revolutionary Road, and features about Sam Peckinpah, Danny Boyle and Woody Allen. We had a salmon risotto for lunch, which was nice and in the afternoon I helped my Dad put the Christmas decorations back in the loft storage.

When I got home I listened to the latest episode of The Man in Black on the radio. It's a series of horror stories hosted by Mark Gatiss, in this installment a secret experiment into subliminal sound produces horrific results.
