Stuff at Work

Last night was pretty quiet. I was watching an episode of That Mitchell and Webb Look through the TV On Demand service, which is a pretty funny comedy sketch show. I was also reading the autobiography of J.G. Ballard that I got at the weekend, which is pretty interesting so far. I was also watching a pretty fun show called Scary but True about people's encounters with the supernatural.

I managed to make my breakfast this morning without anything eventful happening.

It was another fairly uneventful day at work. There was a rumour going around that there was supposed to be a big office meeting about something, but it never actually happened. The rumour mill was suggesting that it might be about the possible relocation which seems to have become an issue again after several months of being dormant, the relocation thing has been going on for years and creates a lot of unecessary stress for people. Just when I keep thinking it's finally over, it reappears. Also the Union are going to be balloting everyone on yet more strike action, which is going to be another nuisance. On more important matters, we discovered that there was a house called "Rivendell" which gave rise to long discussions about elves and dwarves in The Lord of the Rings.

However, I am off work until Tuesday so that should be fun. I'm looking forward to the long weekend.

When I got home I had a microwave pasta, tomato sauce and cheese meal for one. It was quite nice.
