I Don't Want to Wait / For My Life to Be Over
Yesterday evening I was carrying on transcribing my diaries and journals onto the computer. It is interesting reading them in sequence because with diaries and journals I usually just tend to flick through them until I find what I want. Another thing I noticed was that in the earlier journals I was a lot more open about things, writing about my thoughts and feelings a lot more than I do now. I don't really know why that is the case, but I definitely have noticed it. Reading through them now, years after I wrote them, I really do value the openness in the earlier books. I'll have to try and get back to that.
I was watching an episode of Dawson's Creek last night. I used to really enjoy that show. I still like it. I always thought it was funny.
It was another quiet day at work today. They are upgrading the computer systems at work, apparently, and we all had to sit through a lecture about it this morning. There was some coffee and biscuits provided, but from where I was sitting I couldn't actually get to any.
I recorded a 1970s Doctor Who story from TV last night called "The City of Death". It was co-written by Douglas Adams (author of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series) so that should be fun to watch. I'll probably see it tonight.
