At Last, the Weekend
Last night I watched some more episodes of The Twilight Zone. The first one ("The Purple Testament") involved an army lieutenant who has the ability to see who is going to die. The second episode ("Elegy") revolved around a group of 22nd century astronauts who find themselves on what appears to be some kind of museum of Earth on an alien planet. The third episode ("Mirror Image") involved a young woman waiting at a bus station who is shocked to see her exact double. Actually, "Mirror Image" was the first Twilight Zone epsiode I ever saw, when I was thirteen. Fifteen years later I have never forgotten it. It really stuck with me.
Work was really quiet. As usual on a Friday the office was almost completely deserted by lunch-time. People always seem to either take the day off or leave early on Fridays.
